If you don't want to use it all in one fell swoop you can put it in smaller containers after it's mixed.

Chew cans work or you can go to the dollar store and get those little plastic containers. Just gives you more targets to shoot at.

Still makes a boom just not as big.

Course you probably already knew that.

Since I paint cars for a living, we have access to empty gallon cans with lids.  Do not put large amounts of Tannerite into plastic containers. You will be very disappointed... (Just ask the RA crew the last time we tried to kill a washer and dryer...) We found that metal works the best. Yes, I know that metal flies farther, but how close do you really want to be to the stuff when it goes off?

Guys, thanks for the replies.  I'm a tannerite noob, and made the mistake of using the little plastic containers that came with the Tannerite.  Now that I'm more enlightened,.....IT'S ON!  I'll post a short video of today's exploits later tonight or tomorrow.

Pre-mixing = bad

non-mixed = chemicals

mixed = explosives

Explosives can't be transported without license among other problems...

"Persons not holding a current ATF explosives license or permit may not transport or ship explosive materials, even within the State of residence."

Don't get pulled over on the way to the range!... shoot all of it (don't see that being an issue!)

If you mount the charges on the BACK of the target in an appropriate "kill" spot it makes things interesting as well.  The shooter will not anticipate the charge going off = instant surprise. My two cents.

Yeah I know the frog......    I was speaking of the normal paper zombies most of us shoot.   Two hits to the chest, one to the head WHOOPS BOOM and the target disappears!  Or maybe you select another location and Bingo..... Evil

Yeah,  And don't "pre-mix" as it tends to fizzle......
