For fiscal year 1996 NASA was authorized approx. $14.2B in spending. For comparison, the Health and Human Services budget for the same year was over $600B. In other words, Health and Human Services consumes the entire NASA budget in about 6 workdays. People who believe the money spent flying into space could be used to solve all our social ills should consider this fact: Does anybody really believe an extra 6 days of work by the social welfare agencies would solve our problems? -Mike Mullane

Christ I haven't laughed like that in a while....I wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as I scrolled down to the glock in the red solo cup I f'n lost it. Almost in tears by the time I saw the benelli.
