OK guys, I'm trying to 'standardize' off of 123A batteries.

Is there a decent light out there that runs off of AA batteries?
I want something that has some good throw (larger reflector assembly) to get out to at least 400 yards.

I don't care about pressure pads, but I do like the 'tactical clickies' like on my Surefire lights.

There HAS to be something out there.....

Oh yeah - and I can't stand 'multiple-mode' lights. I want off, temporary on, and on. That's IT.

Thanks for the recommendations!

do a search on wolf eyes.

you might end up liking thier rechargeable model, and I think they have some not multi mode lights.

in any case I think they have some retrofit heads for other types of flashlights

Might try searching and posting here:

If there's something out there, someone on there will likely know about it.

I think Fenix may do some.

Thanks for the responses guys - I've been gone here for a bit.

Life is just too "tightly packed" some times.

FWIW, I did check out Fenix before - the problem I think would be mounting that sucker. It's 40mm, and I don't know of a ring that would hold it.

I'll FOR SURE go check out Wolf Eyes right now!

Thanks again!
