You guys have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for the 7.62x39mm.  Here's an update.

It's been a while since I shot the 7.62x39mm version.  To be quite honest, I was personally not that hip on it.  We'll that changed last Friday.  I put 500 rounds of this caliber through a Full-Auto XCR.   It had the 16" barrel and no muzzle brake or flash hider.

The rifle was incredible.  Extremely controllable.  I could put rounds where ever I wanted.  On semi-auto also.   There were absolutely no failures (of course).

The XCR is as accurate in 7.62x39mm as it is in 5.56.

Best news of all is that the C-Products guys have shot their first 30 round mags. and they work.  They are going to send me one next week before Shot.  They are confident I'll like them.

XCR's will be shipping in this Caliber in February.  Get yours now.  You're going to love it.

Sincerely,

 Party

I can't wait!   Having 30 round mags is great too.  Hope the test out fine the first time.

Now, where to source a crate of 7.62x39?

Already have a box of ammo, just waiting for the conversion kit and mags now.  Can you verify the threading of the barrel?  I'm planning on a SWR Omega can for it and my FAL.

Sweet, as a proud XCR owner and fellow Utah'n I am moraly obligated to sell off random postions in hopes of raising enough funds for the conversion...

Any one want to buy a 79.oo dollar Mosin Nagant for 700.oo USD, or  pair of 2 year old worn out 59.oo dollar Shoes they're Merrell, that means quality, for the shockingly low price of 110.oo USD, they will come with a signed certificate of athenticality proving I previously owned them...

kipp,

I think that's what he is talking about.  If he is selling the rifles he is selling the kits.

I can't wait either!

I didn't mean to mislead.  We're selling kits too.   The kits are about $549.99.

The deliveries may extend into March.  But we're well on the way now.

If the Hi-Cap mags aren't avaliable when they start to ship they will ship with a 10 rounder.

Hopefully C-Products will have them out in time for shipping, but at this stage I don't care, I just want my kit!

THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME.  Guess what caliber this is?  With an AK-47 magazine, one couldn't even use a vertical grip in front because the AK Magazine needs to toggle out.  Also, the AK-47 doesn't have a bolt hold hold open.

No stinking rifle built on the AR-15 or AR-18 platform can match this baby

Okay, I'm confused by the last post.  Is that picture impying that the 7.62x39 conversion kits are using a AK47 magazine which can't be used with a vertical grip in front?  I thought the conversion was to use a C-Products magazine that clips in like the current 5.56?

That picture is of the 7.62X39 magazine... hes saying AK mags Rock Out and its inconvenient to use a vertical grip with one and has no bolt hold open soooo he made hisown and wont use the AK 47 magazine...

Not photoshopped.  The pic is real.  The magazine is pre-production.

No.  I said AK-47 magazines toggle out. This comes straight out allowing the insertion of a magazine just like an AR-15 magazine.  Bolt hold open works too.

It's a figment of your imagination.  You're not supposed to be looking there.  When I get the new stock right I'll post some pics.
