Stormwerkes is again offering M-96 stock adaptors .
I have ordered one for myself and with the Ace AR cup or folder mechanism the options become pretty good.

A M16 is a fancy city girl, sexy as hell, but a bit moody. It's all good as long as you take her to the clubs and get what she asks. If you cross the? line, its over.

An AK is a naughty girl, all in latex and with a whip begging you to be naughty. The nastier you are the happier she is. Its clear that she wont dump you, you'll have to do that on your own.
The XCR is the perfect blend of both. Sexy as hell but willing to let you beat her and filthy her up and then beg for more.

I am going to have an adapter straight to Ar type stocks as well.
The first adapter allows a number of configurations.

So If I want to attach a Magpul UBR stock to my M96 I can use your Universal Carbine Adapter (SA-UCA-01) with your Robinson Arms M96 Stock Adapter (SA-M96-01), or wait for the new adapter that combines the two?

Fire4Effect, the UBR won't fit the Universal Carbine adapter quite right. It attaches differently than most carbine stocks.
If you want to use the UBR you will need:
-StormWerkz M96 stock adapter SA-M96-01
-ACE FSM-AR (Folding Mechanism with integrated AR15 type Stock interface)
-Magpul UBR
This will give you a collapsing and folding stock
or
-StormWerkz M96 stock adapter type 2 SA-M96-02(not yet available)
-UBR
for a non-folding fitup of the UBR

Sounds like I need to wait for your 2 SA-M96-02 adapter. I don't want the folding feature. Put me on your list to be notified when available.

Thanks !!!

That should balance quite nicely.

Would most want the type 2 adapter at the same level as the factory stock or up a bit for optics?

Josh,

I pulled out one of my M96’s that has a Robinson long rail on it and mounted a Trijicon TA31F. With this combination I would say the factory stock comb height is about right.

Do you plan to locate the threaded cup on the stock adapter so an AR-15 stock mounted on an M96 matches where the standard Robinson M96 stock comb height is?

I should have a pic of the type 2 stock adapter this weekend, should be about the same cheek position as the factory stock.

Here are a couple of pics of the adapter as well as the new scope mount. They are still in the white in the pics but will be anodized matte black
I tried to keep the stock as low as possible without dropping below the rear of the receiver as it would come in contact with the top of your hand. As a result it is a tight cheek rest when using the iron sights but is prime with an optic.
The type 2 adapter should be on the website by next Wednesday.

Nice work. I dont have an M96 but I did purchase a couple adapters for a VZ-58 and they were top notch in quality and looked to have been a factory option.

Josh,

Will you be softening the edges on the adapter where you transition from the stock profile to the receiver profile?

The edges will be softer, actually the pic looks sharp because it is shiney but i will be smoothing it more for production.

Yes, it will be 6" long, fit between the first and last rib on the handguard.

The Type 2 stock adapters are back from anodize.
I will have pics of them and on the website this evening.

The scope mounts will be on the website this weekend and a week or 2 for the handguard lower rail.

Josh,

Looks good. You show the adapter with a carbine buffer tube and castle nut. Does a rifle buffer tube or Magpul UBR buffer tube completely seat in the adapter?

Howard,
ANY AR stock will fit.
There is .630 depth in the buffer thread and most A2 buffers have .430 length of thread so plenty of room.
Any Magpul, Vltor, SOCOM, etc will fit.
