Found these magazines online and was thinking about giving them a go.  They are expensive, but if they work, I'll bite.  Was wondering if anybody has tried these or can give any feedback!

Cheers

$40 bucks a pop, they better work.  I noticed it said they were 30 round mags, but what they have pictured couldn't be more than a 10-20 round.

Part # is same as what is currently listed on Armalite's web page:

http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=15601045

Any insight from anyone would be great. I said it only two days ago, I would gladly pay $40-$50 if they mag works right every time.

Any chance these are re-branded Cprod?  If not, I'd be real interested in some reviews.

I agree, I wish someone would make some 20 rounders.  I imagine they would be easier to make reliable, and they would also be lighter, and more asthetically pleasing.

They appear to be re-branded CProducts to me.

Yes, now looking at the actual pic, I believe these are rebranded c-product mags.

Bushmaster is now making an AR15 platform in 7.62x39 and it shows to come with a 26 round magazine.  I looked on their website and can't find where you can order the individual magazine.  Maybe it's too new and they haven't updated the site yet.

Here are a few other magazines I found.  What do you guys think?

Here is the response I got from them... they are just overpriced C-Products mags:

We don't make the 7.62X39 magazines.  We get these from C-Products.
These are not specially made for us.

I have a question for you regarding Item Number: 15601045 which you
sell.  7.62X39 30 ROUND AR15 MAGAZINE.  I am inquiring as to the actual
maker of this item.  Is it developed/produced by Armalite?  or is it
actually made for Armalite by C-Products or another company?  Any
insight you could provide is greatly appreciated.  I have several
C-Products magazines that do not function well at all and I am looking
for a better product.

Thanks,

Yeah, that's what I figured.  Thanks for the leg work!

I have ordered a couple of 20 rounders from gunclips.net (see my link in above post).  They state that these are new and mfg. by National Magazine.  I have never ordered anything from gunclips.net so I'll keep you guys posted when and if I receive these and how well they perform.

Mudman, thanks for the link to those 20 rounders from gunclips.  I think I'll give those a try see how they work out.

Stay away from the MWG unless that is all you can have, they are horrible in comparison to other plastic mags out there, even if you can't get any for 7.62x39

I haven't tried them, but I knew I saw something about that the other day,
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=121&t=373257

Part way down, there's a long post with pictures of mags, and the user mentions that the National mags didn't work.  But, maybe they've fixed them since then.

We have been having enough problems trying to get Our 30 round magazines to work correctly.  I don't think that I would even waste my time on anything larger......AND, Eric is on the right track I believe, in thinking shorter magazines "maybe" "better" suited to Our XCR's....  I  think that one of Us will probably have to do the surgery on a CPro 30 round mag. and see what we get.... I personally think it is worth a try. Undecided Undecided My two cents.

Has anyone tried any of the mags?  If so what was the result?
