My MS2 sling arrived today. Its very well thought out. Adjusts easy, well thought out attachment points. Converts from 1 to 2 point in a snap.

It will get run in class tomorrow.

What class is it VB?

http://xcrcarbine.com/forum/index.php/topic,276.0.html

And it worked great. Class required rifles to be slung 100% of time, and watching people get hung up on 2pt and 3pt slings when doing weak side transtitions was a real eye opener...

I didnt have the problem Grin

All around, great product

I just bought one to use on my M4 at work and on my personal AR with ASAP plate and report back in a few weeks. I showed my boss here at work and he likes the idea and might get them for our MP5s as well if I approve them.

The only "problem" I have had with mine is from the hook rubbing on the bottom of the XCR at the hinge.  I have a nice brass collored thing going on right now from all the use.  No biggie, I know that a brass remover will take care of it.

I have a BFG Vicker's on my SD and it works great.

So far it is not as comfortable as a 3 point for a 12 hour shift  My two cents.

It also wont catch on nearly as many things as a 3 point. My two cents.

I will say however that I haven't worn mine for more than 6 hours at a time.

Does anyone know if the Magpul ASAP sling attachment point works with a sidefolder m4 stock?  (I bought the CTR.)

I'd like to use it if possible, otherwise I guess I'll just get a regular QD swivel and attach to the bottom of the receiver.

Thanks.

I have seen pictures of them installed with an AR side folder, I would email Terra to be sure.

Regards,
one of those quick release fittings non the sling is a snap hook... available at west marine.  If you get the bronze one you can black it.  It  is generally used for the halyard.

I bought the M2S and ASAP  and didn't care for either and sold them.

I have been running the Gear Sector ASP Gen II and a Daniel Defense QD Swivel mount on mt AR Carbine and BFG Vickers 2 pts. on my XCR's
