Same here, if you see a yote you are supposed to kill it.  They are hurting the other game populations.

AZ, you're up in central FL right?  I'd love to go after one with my rifle but I don't think we've got to many in the everglades here.

I am in Savannah GA.  They supposedly don't get hunted much and will come in the droves to a decent predator call.  We may try this later in the spring.

I have another "guided" hunt this Saturday, hope to kill more pig and a few deer this time.

Our black powder season was hit with -22 wind chills and over a foot of snow. Only a coyote to show for our efforts.

That 18 deer and 3 coyote with doe only seasons remaining.

Look at the wolf this fellow shot near my Aunt and Uncles place here in Alberta Canada.  He was shot in the spring of 09 during bear season.

I

I do believe it officially weighed in at 197 pounds and is a pending world record.

That is amazing.

I went out all day today with nothing to show for it but a headache...

My younger brother and nephews made it over for Chrismas. I pulled the hunting season pictures from his camera.

They hunted Arkansas this year.

Nephew #3 first bow kill.

Nephew #2 first buck.

Brothers second buck this season.

I'd have left that one to breed.

Yeah, but where would it find another Werewolf to fuck?  That thing is a monster.

I'll bet the wolf shooter had to clean his pants out after that one.   I shot a large hog on the Alabama/Mississippi border over bait from a deer stand.   I had 13 damn hogs bumping my stand trying to get even.  I was using my Sharps 45-70 with 500gr blackpowder reloads.  Shot two more hogs, but the rest refused to leave.   Scared shit out of me, I sat in my stand till well after dark then vacated the area muy pronto.   The guides recovered the hogs I killed with a tractor that had a bucket.  One of the guides had to shoot a hog, with his .44 Mag, out of self defense.

Thats why I hunt with my 6.8 XCR.  I usually only load 10 rounds but I carry a spare box.  If I need more than that we are in big trouble.

I couldn't have shot that, no matter what kinda record it might have been. Unless, of course, it was comin' after me. I just can't shoot anything that looks like a dog, unless it is threatening me or mine.

I have a 2 year 10 month old son that I took hunting every trip this fall and he made so much noise that everything we saw that was shootable heard us before I could get a shot off so we're vegetarians this year...    Grin

This is from a trip he and I went on to pick up his new Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy every boy needs his own dog we were gone for 8 days yes I am a sucker for punishment...

About 300 yards away from this spot I spotted a 4 point mule deer buck coming towards us I looked at Jaiden and told him shhhh be as quiet as you can there is a big deer coming towards us, he proceeded to pick up a stick and hit me in the back then he started kicking bark off of a log and the next thing I new the buck was gone.

Here are a couple of animals I shot in 2008...

Coyote shot with T/C Contender carbine in 223

Wolf shot with older Ruger in 22-250 60gr Sierra HP Varminter's @ 3550fps

4 point mule deer shot with T/C Contender carbine in wildcat 308 Bellm = 150gr bullets @ 2600fps

Interior Mtn grizzly weighed appr 1000lbs skull measured 24 1/16" which makes it elligibal for the B&C life time record book and no the picture doesn't come close to showing its true size.

This is a pic of the taxidermist that did the rug he is 6' tall the smaller grizzly was shot by a buddy of mine and more of what an interior grizzly size should be.
